A little detour off the Balladonia Rd at the Old Coach Telegraph Rd leads to exposed rocks with small pools of water attracting birds in to drink, the surrounding woodland is in good condition. The track into the rockhole can also be accessed from the north along a track that leads SW about 1km south of the Eyre Hwy. At last survey the Balladonia Rd was closed due to the 2019/20 bushfires, but vehicles are using the road. The track into the rochole is much less used and the track winds around fallen trees, 4wd is advised with no caravans.
camp rating 7, 8 if there’s water in the rockhole, this is not an established camp with very few visitors
