I’m not sure of the status of this old Burke Developmental Rd, but I don’t think it’s restricted, access is from the Burke Developmental Rd about 14km west of Gamboola Station, or from the new Strathleven Rd from which it is about 3km west . The lagoon to the south of the track is overused by stock and thus the undergrowth is trashed, there is reasonable tree coverage.
Camp rating 5 it’s a little used road, but not a pleasant spot, please do not camp near the lagoon.
