Latitude -23.4102800 (23° 24′ 37″ S)
Longitude 144.2294400 (144° 13′ 46″ E)

About 5km NW of Longreach on the Landsborough Hwy the site is on the old road at the Apex Park at the crossing of the main channel of the river. There isn’t a lot of scope to explore the riverbanks away from the park, but there is some reasonable habitat in the immediate area. This is actually a dam so there is permanent water here

Camp rating 7. The camp fees must be paid in advance in Longreach, there are toilets here.
