Telstra site Barkly Hwy NT

Survey Point Telstra site Barkly Hwy
Latitude -20.0166700 (20° 1′ 0″ S)
Longitude 137.6991700 (137° 41′ 57″ E)

In the vast grasslands the site is about 3km west of the junction with the Austral Downs Rd and 46km west of Camooweal. The telstra shed is the only relief to the endless plains here, but there is a wide verge to the road here that probably excludes the cattle and there can be quite a few birds taking advantage. There is a farm dam about 500m to the west of the shed which the birds are attracted to also.

No camping is advised here
