From Mirimbah on the Mt Buller Rd it’s a 9km uphill run to the junction. There is a large carpark here. The site takes in the start of a number of trails from the Circuit Rd as well as Falls Ck and Baldy Ck, all in quality forest with a few clearings for the skiers and tobogganists. Circuit Rd is gated during the skiing season. There are toilets open all year round behind the ski hire centre.

Camp rating depends, during the summer a small spot by Baldy Ck and the horse yard is rated 8, during the winter you are limited to the gravel car park rated 4, the toilets a re a short walk from either.
