Survey Point | South Jack Smith Lake Vic |
Latitude | -38.4916700 (38° 29′ 30″ S) |
Longitude | 147.0402800 (147° 2′ 25″ E) |
On the eastern shore of the lake near the exit point of the lake into the sea, this is a difficult site to get to from the west, with a difficult sandy 4wd track from the Jack Smith Lagoon campsite, it may be more easily accessible from the east along Jack Smith Beach Rd off Giffard Rd, though I’ve never tried this route . There is good coastal habitat here, and the lake is good habitat if it has water.
