About 7km south of Flowedale on the Yea-Whittlesea Rd, Silver Ck heads SW, the site is about 1km based near the gate where the walking track into the Kinglake NP begins. There is a patchwork of woodland and grassland, and before the gate a few houses.
Camp rating 7 there is a spot by the gate but it may be frowned upon.
