The site has access from Stephenson St on the corner with Maxfields St at the southern edge of Sale township. This is a large wetland with good woodland, there is a walking trail giving access to some of the ponds as it meanders through the woodland. They are having a problem with weeds both terrestrial and aquatic, so I expect the diversity to diminish over time.

No camping is allowed here
