About 400m along Ranken Rd from the Barkly Hwy with a farm track heading off to the NE, this is open savannah with quite good looking shrubland and some trees, this looks like a good mixture of vegetation. Near the highway there are some turkey dams just to the west of the road.

Camp Rating 6 there is no established camp here, but the farm track lets you get off the road
