Quandong Point WA

Survey Point Quandong Point WA
Latitude-17.5828200 (17° 34′ 58″ S)
Longitude122.1631200 (122° 9′ 47″ E)

Access is about 22km along Manari Rd north of Broome, an unsignposted road heads west down to the track along the coast, the coast track is 2wd to the point, and some of the southern campsites are accessible by 2wd, but the ones further north need 4wd and low tyre pressure. My site in particular has soft sand. The string of campsites are perched on the dunes above the beach with good littoral habitat. The point is a rocky platform which is a roost for the birds. Great spot to camp with no facilities.

Camp rating 10, there are several areas stretched out along the coastal track to the point, only the southern ones should be attempted in 2wd, there are no facilities here.
