On the Western Freeway between Ballarat and Bacchus Marsh, take the Myrniong Rd exit north and immediately Pykes Ck Rd heads west. The site is at the carpark near the boat ramp on the eastern shore. There are facilities here. It can get very busy here on a weekend or holiday time. There are a few trees away from the reservoir, but being deep water here there isn’t much in the way of waterbirds.
No camping is allowed here
