Survey Point | Ponds 19km south of Normanton Qld |
Latitude | -17.8255600 (17° 49′ 32″ S) |
Longitude | 141.0075000 (141° 0′ 27″ E) |
On the Burke Development Rd, the dam on the west side of the road is the highlight of this site. Two mile Swamp to the east is less accessible. The surrounding woodland is in good condition.
Camp rating 4 just to the north of the ponds is a track heading west a short way into the scrub before you come to a fence, not a very good spot though.
