On the Barrier Hwy at the almost ghost town of Olary, Bimbowrie Rd heads north, the site is by the dam about 2km north of the settlement. The dam is fenced off with big trees around it and to a lesser extent along the creek, the rest of the area is stock damaged shrubland.
Camp rating 5 a track opposite the dam leads to an open area, this is not an established camp
