From the Temma Rd take the Nelson Bay Rd which is just before the river bridge to the campground. From the campground it is about 3km, 4wd is needed for the last kilometre of sandy rough track. The site is at Sundown Creek which has a sign noting that it is poisoned, nevertheless it’s good habitat, it’s a pity that camping isn’t allowed past the designated campsite which is in a boring spot. Unfortunately beach driving is allowed here so the sand on the beach is usually badly churned.
No camping is allowed at the site, but a free campsite is back down the track
