On the Carnarvon Mullewa Rd about 65km west of Gascoyne Junction, the well is no longer active but on the west side of the road is a large cattle dam. The dam means that there are lots of cattle in the immediate area and they are doing a lot of damage to the dune’s understorey. The larger trees are doing okay.
