On the north bank of the river about 1km south of Howlong on River Rd, a small track leads to a small flat area by the river. There is patchy woodland around this site, that also takes in Black Swan Anabranch.

Camp rating 6 there is no established campsite here and no facilities. From the carparking space by the river a small track leads east then north to the edge of Black Swan Anabranch which is the best camping spot.
