Just to the NE of Mt Augustus NP the park is located at the juntion of the Dooley Downs Rd and the Cobra-Mt Augustus Rd. The closest towns are Meekathara a 5hr drive and Geraldton even longer. 4wd is recommended to get here as the roads are rough, but people do come in 2wds. Just to the NE of the park the Lyons River crosses, it’s usually dry and is fenced off, permission should be attained before crossing the fence. We did some camp hosting here in 2023.

This is a commercial campground, there is no free camping in the vicinity.
