This is an Australian Wildlife Conservancy property that has been de-stocked and appropriate fire regimes put in place. The result is a burgeoning wildlife population. There are several areas that are open to the public including some nice gorges along the Fitzroy River. It’s 100km off the Gibb River Rd, but well worth the effort, even if it’s to learn how to manage our country in a wildlife friendly way, and yes it can be done on cattle properties too! This site covers the riparian walk and campsite.
Camp rating 7 it’s a nice spot but the fees are exorbitant.
