The Cordillo Access Rd leads south from the Birdsville Development Rd. About 6km down the Cordillo Rd a small track leads down to the lake to the east. It is usually dry, a dam by the track side is more likely to have water. There is a bit of vegetation along the dam’s watercourse in otherwise very open country.
