The site is about 1km south of the bridge on the west bank. The run down from the top along McKillops Bridge Rd from Snowy River Rd is one of the most spectacular drives in Australia. The camp is a free camp amongst a good coverage of trees but the usual poor ground cover, along the banks of the Snowy River though the vegetation is still good.
