Latitude-17.3715800 (17° 22′ 18″ S)
Longitude124.0271700 (124° 1′ 38″ E)

From the Gibb River Rd about 38km east of Derby a signposted track leads 12km along rutted roads to the river crossing, 4wd isn’t necessary in the dry. There is a pool upstream of the crossing that is permanent and with good riverine woodland along the banks. One is allowed to camp here at the moment with no facilities, but people are leaving rubbish behind, if this continues then the land owner will probably stop people camping. Take your rubbish away, all of it, all the time.

Camp rating 9 There are a few spots beside the river here, there are no facilities.
