On the Don River Rd about 6km north of Kokotungo, there are fences both sides of the road here, so you are restricted to birding the road, which isn’t busy in 2015 a dam was being constucted on the east side of the road which may improve the bird count here. The gully is shallow, there’s good but thin line of woodland on the west side of the road, much more open woodland on the east side.
