About 47km north of Halls Creek and 117km south of Wumin on the Great Northern Hwy, the river only runs during the wet season with some rockpools lasting longer. There is a thin line of trees along the banks of the river and patchy grassy scrub away from the river.

Camp rating 7, this is a free campsite on the old road just to the east of the new one. There are no toilets and it’s not far from the main road.
