On the Great Northern Hwy about 101km north of Halls Creek and 63km south of Wumin, the river can be an absolute torrent during the wet season and dry during the dry season, this is a large free campsite with toilets. Being a popular place there is quite a lot of damage to the habitat around the campsite, but down by the river it’s in much better condition.
Camp rating 8 This is a large free campsite, only one or two spots close to the river. There are toilets here, not far off the main road.
