Laughing Jack Lagoon Tas

Survey Point Laughing Jack lagoon Tas
Latitude-42.1757700 (42° 10′ 33″ S)
Longitude146.3299400 (146° 19′ 48″ E)

There are two ways in from the Lyell Hwy east of Derwent Bridge, down Fouteen Mile road to Laughing Jack Rd then west to the end. There is an unmarked logging track further west along Lyell Hwy that also links to Laughing Jack Rd. There is good open woodland around the camp that has no services. There are Platypus in the dam.

Camp rating 8 There are sites on both sides of the dam, I think the best are on the north side, as far as habitat goes, the sites are well back from the lake’s edge. There are no facilities here, not really suitable for caravans.
