On the Finke Track about 19km west of Finke the signposted track heads north. It is a rough 14km unserviced track. There is a marker here, the drop toilets here would have to be some of the grottiest I’ve seen. It is a popular site with the remains of lots of huge campfires, the result of which is poor habitat with no dead wood for the first few hundred meters in all directions, after that it improves. Campfires are destructive of habitat.
Camp rating 4 it should be a nice spot, but it’s a pig sty, it’s free. The toilets are unserviced
