Just east of Lal Lal settlement Ironmine Rd heads east, follow this until you come to Blast Furnace picnic area, from here the track turns south and becomes a 4wd track with steep washed out tracks. The unmarked track that leads up the hill to the mine site is about 1.5km along Ironmine Rd.
