About 6km north of Mount Isa on the Barkly Hwy the Lake Moondarra Rd branches off to the NE. About 15km along at the T junction at the lake, head left then down to a small platform by the lake. This site is a most pleasant place for a picnic and do a bit of birding, there is no camping, the toilets are a bit further around the lake from my site. The water is permanent, but fluctuates, whatever the water level there is good birding on the lake and surrounds.
No camping is allowed here
