The site is on the Stuart Hwy about 1km W of the closest point to the lake. There is open woodland here that can be productive.
camp rating 6 a 4wd track leads over the sand dune towards the railway line with several small places to camp. It’s also possible to camp on the road side of the sand dune but it’s too close to the road. There are no facilities.
