A narrow track leads from Cradle Mountain Rd about 1km south of Moina, to a dead end at the lake. The camping area by the lake is exposed and open. There are no facilities here, but it’s a nice spot. The edge of the lake can be a long way off, but the Iris River has permanent flow.
