The lake is the southernmost of the lakes in Kinchega NP, and the site is on the southern shore of the lake as you meet it on Old Pooncarie Rd coming in from the SW. There is a thin ring of tree around the edge, plus all the old dead ones in the lake. Otherwise it’s very open country.
