Lake Burrendong West of Yarrabin NSW

Survey Point Lake Burrendong west of Yarrabin NSW
Latitude -32.6272200 (32° 37′ 38″ S)
Longitude 149.2680600 (149° 16′ 5″ E)

On Burrendong Dam Rd which ends 1km west of the site at the caravan park, the road is fenced off, but the dam is a reserve, so I hop the fence and walk down to the water, which may only be found in the Meroo River when the dam is low. The dead trees are still here so search them for roosting birds. To the south of the road and along it is good woodland.

No camping is possible here, there is a caravan park at the end of the road
