Latitude-42.0711900 (42° 4′ 16″ S)

On the Lyell Hwy east of Queenstown, the old road branches off just west of the lake, crosses Linda Ck and runs down to the lake side, where it used to continue into the lake, it is a reminder that although these lakes are attractive, they aren’t natural. There are no facilities here. There is good forest above the lake, the easiest way to explore the area is walking the now quiet road.

Camp rating 9 there are several sites to camp along the road, some near the lake. There are no facilities here at this free camp.
