On the Mt Molloy Rd about 1km north of Julatten, this is a birding hotspot, and well worth staying here, booking ahead is recommended, particularly on school holidays and weekends. The environment is managed specifically for birds and birders, you’ll also get lots of information on what birds are being seen where recently.
Camp rating 9 although this is a paid campsite it’s well worth stopping at as it is run specifically to attract birds with excellent habitat. Advance booking is necessary during peak times.
