On the Sumac Rd about 9km east of the junction with Blackwater Rd south of Smithton, this is a free camp in good forest, there’s a pleasant track that leads down by the Julius River.

Camp rating 10, There are no toilets here though there are some at the picnic area 600m away. This is a small free campsite not suitable for tent based camping
