From Inkerman on the Bruce Hwy, take the road that runs south of the hill to the east for about 2,5km, the road to the boat ramp runs branches off then runs east for another 2.5km. There are good mangroves along the channel of the Burdekin River with some accessible river flats, particularly to the east.
