On the Princess Hwy about 6km NE of the border of NSW and Vic, Maxwells Rd heads SE, at about 13km it turns into Mines Rd, a further 4km it turns into Buckland Rd, and about 1km along that Lakeview Rd is a small track that goes around Marshmead, 4wd is necessary to do this track and it is sometimes closed I think seasonally. About 13km along this track Howe Flat Track heads south. You end up about 6km east of Mallacoota after all that. The site is situated near the start of the walk to the sea there is good heathland and woodland beside the track.
Camp rating 9 there is no established camp here but a small car park at the start of the boardwalk gets you off the track. There are no facilities.
