About 55km east of Mt Barnett Roadhouse, the river dries out after rains with perhaps only a pool left. There is good riparian woodland along the banks, with pretty good scrub away from the river.

Camp rating 7 a track on the NE bank leads to a camping spot, there are no facilities here.
