Along the banks of the Clyde River just off the Lyell Hwy in the town, this is a small camping area that’s very popular, there are showers and toilets here, even a washing machine. The river habitat is highly modified but there is some regeneration happening, particularly along the walking track that leads along the bank to the north. After heavy rains the camping flat can flood so be aware of that.
Camp rating 8 This is a small camping area with fees that can get very crowded, and can flood after heavy rains. There are good facilities here that include showers and a washing machine.
