This small wetland just about 3km SW of Forbes on the Newell Hwy is always jam packed with birds. There is a bird hide here but a walk along the track along the south edge of the wetland is necessary and rewarding. The remnant woodland that the swamp is situated in also holds a few birds.
Camp rating 6 it’s a great place to stop for a while, but there is no established camp here, and no facilities and it’s it’s close to the busy highway.
