About 21km SW of Jabiru on the Kakadu Hwy, the signposted road into Nourlangie Rock heads SE, about 5km along a track leads off to the east. To save some walking a 4wd is necessary, particularly during the wet season. It’s a 3km walk to the small patch of monsoon forest, allow about 3hrs depending on the heat and your fitness. The walk is mainly through open country with a few small creeks which run during the wet season.
