Longitude | 139.2502800 (139° 15′ 1″ E) |
A short way along the lawn Hill Rd from the settlement the road crosses the Gregory River, access down to the river flat is best from the west side, but it can be slippery and rutted. The habitat along the river is excellent , with some good woodland above the banks also.
Camp rating 9 there are no facilities here, but there are toilets in the settlement nearby. The best campsites are upstream, away from the large peddled area near the bridge. Check the access track before committing to the drive down. There is enough room for a few campers at the start of the track and also at the junction with the Burketown Rd.
