About 10km east of the Newhaven Homestead the site is on the Yarapilangi Rd, on the east side about 2km north of the main access road. The site has light scrub around the bore which supplies water for the honeyeaters and seed eating birds of the area in a small trough.
No camping here, there is a campsite near the homestead.
