About 15km NE of Healesville on the Maroondah Hwy the picnic ground is at the base of the long uphill drive to the Black Spur saddle. The floor of the picnic ground is mowed grass with a stand of giant non native trees surrounded by native forest with the Watts River running by, there are facilities here.
No camping is allowed here
