About 12km east of Cocklebiddy a track runs south, just before the track heads down the escarpment is where the site is. This spot is designed for people without 4wd that are staying at the observatory. It is above the escarpment in good woodland. A short stroll leads to a lookout over the lowlands, there is no fee to get this far.
