The site is at the bridge on the Stuart Hwy on the salt flats about 32km west of Pimba. Unless there has been some rain recently the water is too mineralized to be of use to the birds. The surrounding scrub to the SE can be productive, particularly if the water is of use.
camp rating 4 a track on the SE leads to some small areas that are usable, there are no facilities here and no shade.
