On the banks of the King River along the Whitfield road about 36km south of Wangaratta, the site is a free camp on the edge of a state forest to the west with farmland to the east.
Camp rating 9 as you can see by the picture below when the level is low it’s possible to get right down to the river, be careful of flash flooding though. This is a lovely spot right by the road that is quiet over night.
