About 68km south of Bedourie at the crossing of the Eyre Ck, this site is a good illustration of the problems associated with allowing stock to have unlimited access to all water. The water when not flowing becomes foul with the excrement of the stock, and the native wildlife deserts the site. The first survey done here was prolific with birds because the creek was flowing, the second survey was done 14 years later with stock fouled water, and not many birds.
Camp rating 6 a pull over to to the NE of the causeway gets you off the road and right next to the creek, where there is a permanent waterhole.
