On the Tasman Peninsula, Nubeena Rd runs off the Arthur Hwy about 10km north of Port Arthur, Saltwater Rd is about 9km along that, and runs to the park , the Coal Mines Historic Reserve is is about 2km into the park, and the mine shaft is signposted. This is good quality dry forest, the mine shaft is just a big hole in the ground, but its history makes it a sobering place.

No camping is allowed here, Lime Bay CP camp is nearby
