On Summerland way about 9km north of Grafton Clarence way heads north up a hill. A park here overlooks the river, the edges of the park have good remnant habitat, and the trees in the park also hold some birds, it can be worthwhile walking up the road a bit. There is no access to the river, there are toilets here.
No camping is allowed here
